Do You Believe in Palm Reading?

Last Tuesday Me and my friend (Kumpadre) went to a snack bar and after eating there we saw a some sort of fun corner and there, there was a machine called La Bocca Della Verita, a machine where you will place your hand inside the hole and presto!, it will read the meaning of your palm. We have fun with each other while reading the result listed in a piece of paper. I don't know if it is true, but what i believe is " We are the one who choose our destiny ".
Here's what is written:
You sometimes allow yourself to be influenced by others;
You could be seriously dissapointed by rash ventures;
Personal hygiene and cleanliness are extremely important to you;
You tent to put the people you love on a pedestal and naturally you don't expect them over to step down;
As long as you can achieve your ambitions you don't care about anyone else's feelings;
Love will bring you more advantages, your kindness will open many doors.

Typhoon "FranK"

--(UPDATE) Typhoon Frank (international code name: Fengshen) has maintained its strength and its eye was located 90 kilometers southeast of Metro Manila (13.9°N 121.5°E) in the latest bulletin issued by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the state weather bureau. In its 5 a.m. update, Pagasa said Frank was forecast to move north northwest at 15 kilometers per hour and had maximum winds of 120 kph and gustiness of up to 150 kph.

As of last night, rains kept pouring on, our electricity was cut-off due to strong winds. Automatically, when we have no electricity here we have no water. So when we woke-up this morning, ugh! we have no extra water in the comfort room, for dishwashing, for taking a bath...the solution....MAG-IGIB!!!

Auntie Diday checking the water

Today we celebrate the 147th birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, our National Hero. Early morning of June 19 all floats are being readied for the coming parade. All the stablishments here in Calamba City, province of Laguna, fully supported the special event.

Not only the commercial establishment joined the parade...all the students of different schools, organizations and the common tao beat the heat of the sun to participate and to join their friends and family at the streets.

The statue of Dr. Jose Rizal at the Rizal Park, Manila carries the inscription
I want to show to those who deprive people the right to love of country, that when we know how to sacrifice ourselves for our duties and convictions, death does not matter if one dies for those one loves – for his country and for others dear to him.

Celebration for Boston Celtics Fans

Game 6 was today...Celtics vs. Lakers! One more win and Boston Celtics will have their 17th NBA Championship. As Basketball loving country I knew that all television set were tuned on this game 6. But for me I won't be able to watch the live telecast. While I am watching the replay of the game I knew that Celtics won...but I don't want to miss the euphoria. Before the replay I have already seen the result in the internet and get some pictures. To all the Garnett, Allen and Pierce, to all Celtics fans....Congrats to us.
