Our Christmas Tree

Christmas is fast approaching… so as Christians we spend my day off decorating our house. With the help of my wife and my children, we dig up all the Christmas decors in the storage room and start arranging our Christmas tree. Gray started assembling the Christmas tree, afterwards Vetvet and Botbot, with the help of Jech put the decors in it. Botbot , who was just 2 ½ years old was so active since it was the first time he did it. Botbot also have the honor in placing the star at the top of the Christmas tree.

Remembering our departed love ones

This year's All Saint's Day we visited Mommy at her grave located at Holy Gardens Memorial, Calamba City. Pholly my brother came with Uncle Nonie, Auntie Gundeng and my cousin Karen who came from Cavite. Karen will spent a few days here in the Philippines before she flew again to Japan. My Mother-in-law, Nanay also came with us to pay respect to Mommy. I was with my wife Marie and our 2 kids, Vetvet and Botbot. Jech also went with us before going to Pampanga to visit her Mama and Lolo who laid there.
At around 8:00 p.m. we went home before proceeding to my Daddy's grave at San Pablo City. I thought going there that time is traffic free but I was wrong. Anyway, we fetch my brother Gordon who was assigned that time helping to mobilize the traffic near the cemetery. It was already I think 4 years ago the last time I visited my Daddy.
This day we visit those special people who were a special part in our life…to let them know that even they were already gone we still remember and love them. To my grandparents, Lolo Apolonio, Lola Felisa, Lola Insay, my parents, Nestor and Sally, my parent-in-law, Graciano, my brother, Edwin, and my wife, Milet, may all of you find happiness and rest in peace.
